Slopify Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-06
This Privacy Policy explains how Slopify (“Slopify”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Slopify mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by Egor Sharokha, Uruguay.
1) What we collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication metadata used to sign in through our authentication services.
- Station and content you create: station names, rotation items, prompts, tags, feedback actions such as skip, like, favorite, and related metadata needed to run the Service.
- Generated content and metadata: information about generated tracks, including timestamps, identifiers, station settings, audio, artwork, lyrics, and other assets we display in the app.
- Credits and purchase data: information needed to provide subscriptions, credit top-ups, and billing-related functionality. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Play Store; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device and diagnostics: basic technical information such as app version, device or OS version, and network error details to troubleshoot issues.
- Support communications: if you contact us, we may receive the contents of your message and any information you choose to share.
- Attribution and analytics data: device and advertising identifiers available under platform permissions, IP address, app launches, campaign and ad metadata, and in-app events such as signup, playback, reactions, activation, and purchases.
- Uploaded content: audio, artwork, file names, sizes, technical media details, destination station and rotation, and the time and version of your upload-rights acknowledgement. We use these records to process imports, enforce limits and resolve errors or rights complaints.
- Style discovery data: the text, links, artist or track names and audio you submit, the tags we suggest and the ones you confirm, and technical records of each request (status, timing, usage and cost). Usage events about the feature never contain your text, links or audio.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into station names, prompts, or tags. The Service is not designed to process special categories of personal data.
2) Music generation and third-party processing
When you request music generation, your inputs such as prompts, tags, and station or rotation settings are processed by third-party providers that help us generate audio and related assets. These providers may receive and process your generation inputs and return outputs to us so we can deliver the Service. Slopify handles provider access on your behalf.
- We send generation inputs and technical identifiers needed to fulfill your request.
- We do not send your payment card details to generation providers.
- We may store generated audio and artwork in our storage to make playback reliable and to enable features such as downloads and library access.
Third-party providers are independent from Slopify. Their data practices may apply to their processing. We aim to work with providers that support reasonable security and privacy protections, but we do not control their services.
Uploaded audio and artwork are processed by our storage and media-processing service providers to deliver private library features and protect the Service. We do not use these uploads to train AI models or submit them to music-generation providers as generation inputs. Technical validation does not verify copyright ownership or guarantee that a recording is lawful.
3) How we use information
- Provide core functionality: create stations, generate and play tracks, and maintain history and favorites.
- Operate subscriptions, credit balances, and enforce feature gating.
- Protect the Service against abuse and troubleshoot errors.
- Send service emails to your account email address, such as security, subscription status, and retention or deletion notices.
- Measure installs, campaign performance, activation, retention, and subscription outcomes, and help detect attribution fraud.
- Suggest music style tags from what you submit to Style discovery and apply its daily limits.
4) How we share information
- Service providers: we use third-party providers to host and operate parts of the Service, such as cloud infrastructure, databases, storage, monitoring, and email delivery.
- Music generation providers: we share generation inputs with third parties to produce audio and related assets.
- App Store / Play Store: purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Legal and safety: we may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the Service and users.
- Measurement, analytics, and advertising partners: AppsFlyer and Mixpanel process attribution and product analytics data; RevenueCat processes subscription data; when a campaign integration is active, partners such as X may receive install and conversion postbacks under their settings.
- AI analysis providers: third-party AI providers process what you submit to Style discovery (your text, short summaries of linked pages, and audio you choose or import) to return tags to us. We do not authorize them to train their models on it.
5) Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Account and station data is generally kept until you delete it or request account deletion. Some generated media may be hosted by third parties for a limited time. We may store generated audio or artwork in our storage to provide playback and related features. If you do not have an active subscription, some stored media may be deleted after a limited retention period.
Account deletion: you can request account deletion in the app under Settings -> Account -> Delete account. We schedule deletion after a 30-day grace period. During the grace period, you can cancel the request by signing in again and choosing to continue when prompted.
If your subscription ends, we keep subscriber-stored tracks accessible for 2 years and then may delete stored audio or artwork from Slopify storage unless you resubscribe or download them. You can download your library as a single archive from the app, up to 4 GiB. We send service emails at expiry and 1 month before the grace period ends with the deletion timeline.
New uploads and retries require Pro. Completed imports remain accessible when Pro ends; the 14-day free-generated-track and two-year subscriber-generated-track expiry rules do not apply to imported music. You can delete imported tracks or request account deletion. Removal from active storage is processed through our deletion system; temporary files and failed or abandoned imports are cleaned up. Limited records or backup copies may remain where needed for legal obligations, security or recovery. Keep your own originals: Slopify is not a backup service.
Style discovery requests and results, including your text, are kept for up to 30 days. Reference audio is deleted about an hour after the request ends. Tags you confirm stay with your station, rotation or track like other station data. Usage and cost records are kept without a link to you after you delete your account.
6) Your choices
- You can delete stations and tracks in the app where available.
- You can request account deletion in the app under Settings -> Account -> Delete account. Learn more on the account deletion page.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Play Store account settings.
7) Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, or the age required by your jurisdiction.
8) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date.
